I know! I was just there in May. This time it’s a free trip though, since I went with an association, who was invited by the board of tourism. They were there to represent Macau to perform at the Shanghai Tourism Festival 2005.
It was actually very exciting at the parade, since there were thousands of people watching. It was packed along both side of the street (You can see the crowd at the back of the picture and that’s my sis in the yellow skirt). They performed a Portuguese heritage dance. There were over 50 other groups from all over the world performing that night.

Who can say they’ve been to Shanghai without a picture of their famous tower.
I actually went up this time; compliment of the Shanghai Board of Tourism. The sky is quite blurry though, but the view is very nice. To me, it is just the same as the other towers I’ve been to, not worth going up if you have to pay.

Mid-Autumn Festival, a day for moon watching.
← 磁浮列車
Probably the highlight of the trip, as I did not get a chance to go on it last time. At first it was going slow, then accelerated to its maximum speed of 431 km/hr, and that’s fast!!! The ride only lasted 7 min 20 sec, so the enjoyment time is real short; but definitely worth taking.
