Sweet Battle

Though I was in Europe, I didn’t forget your b-day.  Wish you had a good time on your special day.  Hope this year will be a smooth and successful one for you.  Good luck with everything, both personal and career wise.  You deserve all the happiness that you get because you are truly a nice and sweet person.  Really miss talking to you and sharing all my ‘adventures’ with you.  Remember I am here anytime you need me and that I am very happy to have you as my friend.

This is close to where our hotel is, in the business district.  This is one of the three arc in Paris.

← Musee de Louvre

I love this place.  We went into the museum and had a quick look around.  Saw the must sees and really hope I can spend a few more hours in there.

← LV store @Champs Elysees

The store that so many go crazy over.  I am not that into LV and find it stressful to shop there, but have to admit it is really cheaper.

← Tour Eiffel @ night

The tower looks so beautiful at night.  The pic was taken during the light display.  The whole tower was blinking and I loved it.

Overall, didn’t really spend much.  My biggest expense was a Gucci wallet.  LV doesn’t tempt me, but somehow can’t resist Gucci.  Bought some chocolates in Switzerland and that’s about it.  I have posted some pics in my photo album, so feel free to take a look.

Wondering when will be my next trip to Europe again.  Would really love to go to Italy and Vatican City (Kini! Kini! Kini! ~ You can help me make my wish come true ^0^ ~ Please!!!).

The sky was grey and foggy, but it is still the Eiffel tower.

← Arc de Triomphe

Nice!  Especially the view when you are walking down Champs Elysees and facing the Arc.

← Notre Dame

We had a quick walk around and I hope I had more time.  The cathedral looks real nice and I would like if I could had a better look at the statues.

← Luzern

This is where they give us time to shop and buy watches.  However, we had to squeeze in some time for pictures.

← Titlis

Lots of people were there skiing, but I had never liked ice and snow.  It was a nice mountain though and we had to take 3 cable cars to get to the summit.

← Titisee

Nice lake in the Blackforest area.  It was comfortable to walk around, and we had a blackforest cake.

← Rheinfall

This was in Switzerland.  I guess being used to seeing Niagara Falls made me not too excited about seeing falls.

← The Lion Monument

This was nice.  The lion was stabbed and you can see the sorrow.  I liked it.

← Rothenburg

This is a nice town, but since we were there on X’mas day, everything was closed.  We were walking around for almost 2 hours and it was 0 degree outside.  I was freezing!

← Heidelburg

I think this place looks nice with the ancient building in the background.  We didn’t have enough time to walk around though.

We really didn’t do much on the first day.  Only visited 2 towns and were back at the hotel early.  Both towns were nice but I would prefer if I could have walked around a little more.  I hate joining tours.
